AFC Playtime

Arlington Heights Nursery School10 Acton Street Arlington, MA 10:00-11:30am. Arlington Heights Nursery School, basement, 10 Acton Street, Arlington. Drop-in playtime for kids 0-4 years old with their parent/caregiver. Socialize with other families and have the kids play in a spacious, comfortable, well-lit, contained space with age-appropriate toys. Playtime ends with circle time including songs and stories. Ample parking is behind the school with a separate entrance in the back of the building. Cost is $3/family for AFC Members, $5 for non-members. Playtime needs more volunteers! Puddlestompers

9:30-10:30am OR 10:30-11:30am Menotomy Rocks Park, Jason Street, Arlington. Take your young naturalist out to explore Mother Nature this spring! Investigate all the colors of spring time! Find, smell and feel different flowers! Discover how flowers grow and what helps them to become big and beautiful! Class includes hands-on exploration, active movement and play, songs, a craft, snack and a story, as well as additional information to extend learning into your home. The cost is $5 per child, appropriate for ages 2+, infants in backpacks welcome (no strollers please). Space is Limited; please RSVP and indicate which session you would like to sign up for by May 8 at 12:00 noon. AFC members only. Baby Boot Camp Demo

9:30am. Hill’s Hill Field, 422 Summer Street, Arlington. Come for a free presentation about stroller fitness presented by Baby Boot Camp. Learn about safe and effective ways to exercise outside while spending time with your children. There will be great free samples for the moms and little ones to enjoy.
